Almas

Origin and tradition

Almas is a name associated with wild-person traditions in parts of Central Asia and Mongolia. Retellings describe a hairy, humanlike being in remote terrain. Later cryptozoological speculation is distinct from the regional stories and does not establish an undiscovered human population.
