Adze

Origin and tradition

Ewe folklore describes the Adze as a vampiric being that may move as a firefly and feed on blood or life force.

The plate selects the firefly form: a small glowing insect approaching a crack in a wooden shutter. Ewe accounts also describe other manifestations; an insect-bodied humanoid is not needed to illustrate this particular form.
